Camping
Great for backpackers, overlanders, and anyone who just loves to sleep under the stars. The campsite is in a shady, natural grove of trees set away from the main lodge and restaurant to give campers a feeling of being away from it all, but in fact, it’s only a short stroll away from everything you’ll need. You’ll often see warthogs and friendly monkeys near the campground–confirming that you are indeed immersed in nature.
The campsite can comfortably accommodate up to 40 people with ample space for parking.
Designated fire areas are available for cooking and wood is provided; however you would need to bring your own grill. Currently, the nearest shop is in the town of Vila Gorongosa a 1.5 hr drive from Chitengo – so we recommended that you buy supplies en-route and before you arrive.

Camping & Caravans (per person/per day/ bring your own): $12 USD
Additionally, tents can be rented from $25- $35 subject to availability – Please contact us in advance to see if we have available tents.
