Public Tender No. 01/GRP/PROC-LOG/03-2025

Gorongosa National Park is a remarkable example of wildlife restoration in Africa. Established in 2008 through an agreement between the Government of Mozambique and the Carr Foundation, the Gorongosa Restoration Project (GRP) co-manages the park, promoting biodiversity conservation and the well-being of communities in the Buffer Zone. In June 2018, the agreement was extended until 2043.
With funding from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (Holland), the GRP is implementing improvements in coffee production in the Gorongosa district, promoting sustainable production practices and access to inputs, markets, and processing infrastructure. This strengthens the coffee value chain, increases income and food security for small-scale farmers, and contributes to restoring the Gorongosa Mountain.
