We are thrilled to announce that the Boise Rotary Club in partnership with the Chimoio-Planalto Rotary Club have just made a significant contribution to improving healthcare access in communities across the Park’s Sustainable Development Zone. Thanks to their generous support and dedication, they were able to donate a brand new vehicle to a vital health project called Mobile brigades that aims at reaching remote areas with essential medical services. This vehicle will serve as a lifeline, connecting healthcare professionals to those who need it most, ensuring that no one is left behind.
None of this would have been possible without the incredible generosity and unwavering commitment of the Rotary International family. Together, we are making a real and tangible difference in the lives of countless individuals, helping to build healthier, happier communities. Thank you for being a part of this journey of saving lives. Last thursday, 6th of June a team of Rotary club members came to the Park to handover the vehicle to the health team of the Park. This was a small but very significant ceremony symbolising the more access to healthcare services to communities across two more districts in remote areas of Dondo and Maringue. The ceremony was closed with a beautiful safari in Gorongosa National Park.
